Combat Antisemitism
Our slate is committed to proactively addressing antisemitism by establishing clear policies that define and address antisemitic behaviors consistently. We will ensure that incidents are systematically documented, thoroughly investigated, and transparently reported to the community. Additionally, we will integrate ongoing education about antisemitism into school curricula and staff professional development. By promoting understanding, accountability, and respect, we aim to create schools where every student feels safe, welcome, and valued.
Ensure Fiscal Responsibility
With Lower Merion School District’s substantial budget, we believe it’s essential to carefully track and publicly justify every expenditure. We advocate for regular independent audits, transparent financial reporting, and rigorous evaluation of all programs to determine their effectiveness and necessity. By eliminating wasteful spending and redirecting resources toward classrooms, special education, and student services, we will ensure taxpayer funds directly benefit student learning and school improvement.
Strengthen Special Education
We are committed to providing an education that meets every student’s unique needs. This includes significantly improving special education services through additional staff, streamlined evaluations, better parent communication, and targeted professional development for educators. With a goal to create personalized learning pathways to challenge and support all students, from those in special education to those in gifted and honors programs. By focusing on early identification and inclusive practices, we ensure every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
