Jacob Rudolph

Jacob Rudolph is a Harriton High School senior and a lifelong, fourth-generation Lower Merion resident. Having spent 13 years as a student in LMSD, he knows the district’s strengths and weaknesses firsthand. Jacob has excelled in the gifted program yet struggled to get support for his ADHD until 11th grade, giving him insight into how even a top district can fail to meet individual needs. He has also personally experienced antisemitic harassment at school – “old-fashioned anti-semitism” that was largely swept aside by administrators – fueling his passion to ensure no student is subject to hate.

Jacob's Priorities

Jacob is running to improve special education accessibility, take a firm stand against antisemitism, and refocus the Board on students and families over bureaucracy or politics . “Every child deserves a safe and enriching education, free from discrimination and barriers to success,” Jacob says, and he will work to create a school system that supports students, empowers teachers, and listens to parents . His priorities include fighting for clear anti-hate policies with real consequences, making special-ed services easier to access, and amplifying student and parent voices in Board decisions . Jacob brings the student perspective to the table and a commitment to put students first in every decision .
